22. Advocating for Rainbow Babies and Pregnancy After Loss with Grace Peterson

In today’s episode of the What I Wish I Knew After Pregnancy Loss Podcast, I introduce Grace Peterson. Grace shares her experiences as a first-time mum to a rainbow baby, sharing the need to raise awareness about pregnancy after loss. She shares about the lack of understanding and support from medical staff, as well as the emotional toll of her pregnancy after loss. She also discusses her traumatic birth experience and the challenges she faced with that. We also talk more about her book, Behind My Smile: A Rainbow Baby Story, which also shares her experiences and the importance of advocating for mums to rainbow babies. Grace encourages mums to embrace their voices, no matter how small, and to be confident in using it. Tune in to hear more of Grace’s story.
